Learn how to use LanForAll to share files, sync text, and collaborate across all your devices on your local network.
Quick Start Guide
Click 'Go to Dashboard' or 'Launch Workspace' to access your workspace.
On other devices, scan the QR code or enter the IP address shown in your sidebar.
Type in the editor, upload files, or use Instant Send. Everything syncs automatically!
How to Use LanForAll
The text editor is your shared clipboard across all devices. Anything you type here is instantly available on all connected devices.
Write Mode
Type or paste your content. It auto-saves as you type.
Preview Mode
See your Markdown formatted beautifully with syntax highlighting.
Quick Actions
Use the toolbar to copy all content or clear the editor.
Upload any file type and access it from all your connected devices instantly.
Upload Files
Click the Upload button or drag and drop files into the vault area.
Download Files
Click any file to download it, or use "Download All" to get everything as a ZIP.
Search Files
Use the search bar to quickly find files by name.
Connect phones, tablets, and computers to your workspace in seconds.
QR Code Method
Click "Connect" in the header, then scan the QR code with your phone's camera.
IP Address Method
Copy your IP address from the sidebar and enter it in your browser on another device.
Clone Link
Use the "Clone Link" button to copy the full URL and share it with team members.
Quickly send short messages or links without opening the full editor.
Quick Messages
Type in the Instant Send box in the sidebar and press Enter or click Send.

Protect your workspace and customize your experience.
Password Protection
Open Settings → Security tab to set a password. Anyone accessing your workspace will need it.
Customize Editor
